A Decade of Debs
This week will be the tenth year I will be honored to work alongside the extremely talented and dedicated, Alix Jacobs from The Philadelphia Charity Ball. Keeping up with tradition, I will create floral designs in the historic color scheme of pink and white. The six debutantes will carry pink silk fans adorned with white phalaenopsis orchids. Dinner guests at The Union League will be surrounded by elaborate arrangements of towering willow branches mixed with tulips, hybrid lilies, amaryllis, and peonies. Included with this post are photos from last year's ball. Stay tuned for photos after this event!

With A Rustic Flair
I am copying directly from my friend, Melody Appel's blog, Innove. Melody posted wonderful pictures and such a beautiful version of our collaboration on a wedding last summer that I thought plagiarism would be less time consuming than reinventing the wheel. Thanks Mel!

Real Wedding: rustic, warm & inviting
I am so excited to finally receive the beautiful photos from this summer's wedding from Eric at The Artist Group. I had worked with the bride's sister several years ago, and was elated when the family contacted me to plan her older sister's wedding too! From the beginning, D& N knew exactly what they wanted: a warm, community feast with a Northern California vibe. I designed a logo which was an abstract circle of people surrounding the couple's initials. Together with the super talented Nancy Saam, I incorporated moss, succulents, bark, fiddleheads, and burlap throughout the decor elements. The bride & groom couldn't have been more appreciative of the final outcome, and seeing their enjoyment was one of the highlights of my career!
